Russell Brand has certainly been described as many different things in his time, but his new fiancee Katy Perry has added to the list with some unlikely look-a-likes.
Speaking to fashion magazine Nylon, Katy said that Russell’s famous skinny jeans and big hair remind her of several people, with names surprisingly including Elvis Presley and Jesus.
If that was not enough, the I Kissed A Girl singer added The Doors singer Jim Morrison and the notorious cult leader Charles Manson to the list.
But this does not seem to bother Katy, who also revealed details of their engagement, stating that her ring contains two rubies and is engraved with the phrase “the one I’ve been looking for”.
Comedian Russell popped the question while on holiday in India over new year, after the pair had only been dating for a few months. Before getting down on one knee, the couple had their relationship blessed by a love guru at the foot of Jaipur mountain.

Rihanna has been seen hanging out with I Kissed A Girl singer Katy Perry and her British fiancé Russell Brand recently, according to reports.
According to ContactMusic Rihanna said: “They are always kidding around and making jokes, When I’m with them I just die laughing.
“They are both hilarious but together they are even funnier to be with. It’s only a matter of time before they end up in a movie together or something.”
In other Rihanna news- although Pixie Lott walked away without a gong at The BRIT Awards, she has still been announced to join Ri’ on her UK tour in May.
The tour will kick off in Birmingham on May 7th and will end in Glasgow on May 20th.

“I feel like a big red strawberry” is how Katy Perry described herself this week.
Speaking with Nylon, the ‘Thinking Of You’ singer revealed that she loves having fun when she chooses her outfits - although she is growing up slightly when it comes to her fashion.
“Some of the kid s**t I’ve grown out of completely,” Katy explained in the current issue of the magazine, “I’m taking it out on the Shirley Temple, Betty Boop, Lichtenstein kind of thing.
“It’s still fun, but a bit darker. It’s not as annoying. Sometimes, I feel like a big strawberry with a face on it.” Perry joked.
“Sometimes I really feel like I’m more of a Taylor Swift. Love has really affected my songwriting. I know how to handle a man now.”
Katy is engaged to British comedian Russell Brand and the lovebirds are expected to wed in the coming months.

Obviously she feels comfortable with the pictures, as she claimed: “It’s a bit of a darker side of me, a little S&M…”
The funny thing about it is that Katy is about as immodest in her pictures as she in her interviews. She revealed lots of personal elements to Complex Magazine and oddly enough, Miss Perry is not the kind of “hot chick” you could fantasize about while checking out those pics.
Katy tells Complex that she has only had four boyfriends in her life (No girlfriends? Not even a … kiss?) and each of those relationships lasted about two years.
On one-night-stands she claims: “Getting your flirt on is the best thing in the world, but when it comes to sharing your bodily fluids with a person you don’t know, no thank you. Disgusting ! Even if that’s saliva, you know ? Some people don’t brush their teeth.”
Would she say the same to an unbrushed-toothed George Clooney or Brad Pitt? Not that sure…

Last week, two worlds collided when Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson were spotted in a car together after having hung out at a karaoke bar where they were celebrating the birthday of a mutual friend. (In case you were wondering, Perry sang the Mariah Carey holiday classic “All I Want for Christmas is You,” while Pattinson did not get on the microphone.) As is the case any time Pattinson is seen anywhere with anyone, rumors began to swirl: Are they together? Why did they leave together? Does that mean that Perry’s relationship with Russel Brand is on the outs?

Perry clarified the situation over the weekend the best way she knows how: Via Twitter. On Saturday (December 19) the singer tweeted, “Read a bunch of yesterday’s news. People should know by now that I don’t do vampires.” She didn’t make any other reference to it, which seems to close the case entirely. The party was for 25-year-old actress Shannon Woodward, and it’s the second time that Perry and Pattinson have been in the same room for a Woodward birthday.

Perry is currently in the U.K. with Brand (she tweeted a photo from a soccer match yesterday) and recently completed work on her second album, which should be unleashed on the universe some time in the first half of 2010.
