Apparently, it’s a little bit dangerous being Katy Perry. Over the weekend, she was apparently dancing so hard in a club that she fell down and cut her leg. The cut was so intense that it even required 17 stitches. But she is a professional and a soldier, so she slipped a flesh-colored bandage over it and continued on with the promotional tour for her upcoming second album Teenage Dream. “17 stitches later,” she tweeted after seeing a doctor. “Don’t make fun of my dance moves tomorrow. That’s what got me here in the 1st place! Thanks for the souvenir Canada.”

While Perry’s injury is just a cut, it’s still an inconvenience that she is working through. It’s difficult to go on tour and not hurt yourself every once in a while, which means that Perry has excellent company on the list of stars who have been knocked down only to get right back up again.

Rihanna has been seen hanging out with I Kissed A Girl singer Katy Perry and her British fiancé Russell Brand recently, according to reports.
According to ContactMusic Rihanna said: “They are always kidding around and making jokes, When I’m with them I just die laughing.
“They are both hilarious but together they are even funnier to be with. It’s only a matter of time before they end up in a movie together or something.”
In other Rihanna news- although Pixie Lott walked away without a gong at The BRIT Awards, she has still been announced to join Ri’ on her UK tour in May.
The tour will kick off in Birmingham on May 7th and will end in Glasgow on May 20th.

“When I did this song, I was in love with this record called … you’re gonna be surprised. The record didn’t have anything to do with ['If We Ever Meet Again'], but when I heard [the Black Eyed Peas'] ‘I Gotta Feeling,’ I said, ‘I want a record just like that on my album.’ I said, ‘I gotta do me a “I Gotta Feeling” record.’ Me and one of my producers, Jim Beanz, we came up with this concept. I said, ‘["I Gotta Feeling"] is happy, but I like it.’ It gives a good feeling.”
On the record, Tim enlists Katy Perry to sing about meeting that special someone — Timbo sings too, instead of rapping. (more…)
